We did golf ball painting- we dipped a golf ball in paint and rolled it back and forth over paper in a box.
We had rollers with dots on them at the easel and we painted on ball shapes.

We did "The button factory", "Hand dance" and "The more we get together" for music time today.

We did a matching game with different size snowmen at circle time and we thought of what words start with the letter B.

Maple Room- Morning class

We read "The hat" by Jan Brett

We made prints today by painting first with foam brushes on shelf liner paper that had a weave pattern.  The the children pressed a piece of paper on top of it and when they pulled the paper up we had a print.  We used purple and blue glitter paint and we will frame them with a hat shape.

We had hat shapes at the easel with white paper and textured stampers.

We did "The January song", "winter song", "5 snowmen jumping on the bed", "way up high in the snowy tree", "snowman pokey", for music today.

We did letter M on the dry erase board.  We played a letter game' What letter is missing?" with the letters A-M.

We had ice blocks with eye droppers, salt and water colors at the sensory table.
