We made paper cupcakes at art today.  We used a paper shaped like a cupcake and "frosted" it with a mixture that was made from shaving cream and glue.  We sprinkled them with confetti to look like sprinkles.  We wrote on the bottom what the children dictated to the questions If you give a _______ a cupcake.

We did the "ABC sounds song", "Tap your toe" and "Deep in the Jungle" for music today.

We asked the children to think of words that start with the letter A and made a list of all we could think of.

Stay & Play:

We read "Dixie and the class treat" by Grace Gilman

We did oil pastel pictures and then we painted over them with watercolors.  The watercolors don't paint on top of the oil pastels, only on the plain paper.

We did "Late last night" and Put your finger in the air" for music time.

We enjoyed some pizza today for snack.

We loved getting out to the playground a second time today.
